How to Lose 10 Pounds Quickly
Losing ten pounds seems to be a common desire among all sorts of people. One of the reasons is that it is very easy to get comfortable and add an extra ten pounds. There is no shortage of temptations these days with the amount of fast food, sugary sodas, and convenient on the go junk food that can add a few extra inches to our waistlines. Add in the fact that people’s lives are busier than ever and you have a recipe for a quick ten pounds. If only it were as easy to lose ten pounds as it were to put them on!
One of the quickest ways to lost ten pounds is to sit down and set a goal. You have to map out a plan before you can even think about reaching that destination. Furthermore mapping out a plan will help you to stay committed and get the weight off in the shortest amount of time possible. After you have your plan be sure to let someone you trust know about it to reinforce the commitment. This person will help you to stay on track. There is no way to lose the weight if you fall off course halfway there.
In order to make your dream a reality you are also going to have to take a hard look at what you eat on a daily basis. Processed foods and binge snacking between meals will have to cease. In order to take the weight off quickly you will have to not only measure your current caloric intake but also cut back on it so that you are operating in a calorie deficit. Sticking to that calorie deficit or shortage will only work if you continue to pay close attention to what it is you are eating. Keeping a small pocket sized notebook with you to write down what you take in can be a great help. On top of that they do not cost much so there really is no excuse for not using one.
Dieting alone will not allow you to take the weight off in a fast manner so you are going to have to add in some sort of exercise routine. Now since we are only talking about ten pounds it does not have to be crazy hard or long but you will need some sort of exercise. Just keep in mind that the quicker you want to lose the more work you will have to do. If your goal is only losing ten pounds you might not have to do a ton of exercise but if you want it to happen quickly you cannot complain if you are not putting in the exercise time.
A decent exercise program and sensible eating can allow you to lose ten pounds rather quickly believe it or not. Unfortunately most people never make it happen because they just do not stick to it. If you can keep at it consistently I think you will surprise yourself and others at how quickly you can actually make it happen. Do not give up!
